SCOOPY DOO EXCAVATION, LLC
Field Edge Maintenance
We will customize our solution to meet your needs

-
Our typical approach starts with cutting the brush back around the edge of your field with our excavator / brush cutter. Our brush cutter can turn trees with a 6” diameter trunk into wood chips. This process will take the longest as we take care to not harm existing fence, push all large branches off the field, and make sure all stumps are cut to ground level (so they can be mowed over).
-
Often there are larger trees that cannot be cut down by our brush cutter. These are left in place and a note is made on their location. Once the field is clear of brush we will put the bucket on the excavator. This allows us to go back and remove these larger trees. We can push them into a ditch or pile them up.
-
As a next step we will run our tractor with a 15’ shredder over the edge of your field. This will chop up left over branches facilitating their breakdown.
-
The final step can be to run our modified rake over the edge of your tilled land. This will help push back any small brush that may have been thrown out into your field.
